Availability
Whenever permanent places become available at any of our services, they are first offered to children currently attending, then to siblings of children currently attending and then to children on our waiting list. The number of days offered is determined by the days we have available, the days that are required and the reason child care is required. Enrolment may be full-time (5 days per week) or part-time (less than 5 days per week). We strongly encourage families to consider 2 days per week as a minimum enrolment to ensure the child has the best opportunity to enjoy and benefit from the child care experience, however 1 day bookings are available in all age groups. Further information on the waiting list, enrolment and orientation can be found below.

Enrolment
When a vacancy arises, you will be contacted by phone and offered child care. During this phone call an arrangement will also be made for the first orientation visit. There is quite a bit of paperwork to read and complete on enrolment, this will be given to you during orientation.
Orientation
We believe that orientation is a very valuable process for children and their parents. We work closely with each family to help both parents and children feel welcome and supported.
During the first orientation a senior staff member will give you a tour of the centre, if this has not previously occurred. Parents are able to visit several times with their child before child care commences. Children’s first time on their own is generally only for a short period, usually 1-2 hours. During these visits educators will find out about daily routines and any information that may help your child to settle. Educators take time to ensure that both children and parents feel relaxed and at home in the centre.
